Business Development Officer – Equipment Finance - Pennsylvania
Location: Pennsylvania

The Commercial Equipment Finance Division is seeking a Business Development Officer - Equipment Finance to consistently grow the portfolio of clients through excellent prospecting, lease finance solutions and sales management techniques.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for growing the banks presence in equipment finance through direct originations and providing support to all Corporate Banking clients but focusing on the upper end of the market between $50MM and $3B.
  • Drives business development by acquiring highly profitable customers with an annual goal of $60MM in funded volume while achieving the appropriate returns.
  • Directs origination within a defined geography of new equipment and structured financing business
  • Identifies and structures commercial credit transactions to ensure maximum profitability with reasonable risk
  • Territory includes: PA, Southern NJ (south of Trenton), OH, MD, VA, WV, MO

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 15+ years of commercial banking experience
  • Formal credit training preferred
  • Proven ability to actively manage and sell cash management & treasury products
  • Demonstrated superior sales, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior knowledge of Corporate Banking equipment loan and lease products and services.
  • Capacity to travel extensively in respective local market.
