Job Description:
The Relationship Manager (RM) generates small to mid-ticket equipment finance sales volume by establishing and managing relationships with manufacturers and vendor partners. The candidate works independently but with the backing of a seasoned originations and operations team, performing a wide range of vendor and customer support duties. RM has frequent communication with vendor salespeople and central points of contact at vendors and customers.
Strategic Acivities:
- Develop, document and execute sales plans to meet business targets.
- Participate in planning meetings with Vendors.
- Integrate UniFi with the Vendor.
- Understand the dynamics of National leasing players and relevant equipment markets (market trends, customer needs, competitors).
Tactical Activities:
- Must demonstrate access to relationships to drive volume.
- Manage and grow relationships.
- Develop and maintain a quality prospect funnel to support revenue goals.
- Qualify leads by customer profile, credit risk and profit opportunity.
- Match customer needs to UniFi solutions.
- Generate and follow up sales proposals.
- Collect information and obtain credit and other approvals per the on-boarding process.
- Facilitate information to enable contract negotiation where needed.
- Maintain and provide an accurate sales forecast.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with all leasing products
- Capable of preparing and training on lease quote tools
- Leasing product knowledge
- Understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of all relevant competitors
- Ability to work within a team atmosphere
- Planning and Organizational skills
