Primary Purpose: Responsible for the effective generation, evaluation, approval, processing, closing and servicing of commercial equipment finance contracts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned)
- Provide integration, effective implementation and conformance to the commercial equipment finance policies of the bank.
- Contribute to the expansion of the bank’s deposits while cross-selling all lines of business.
- Understand, review and analyze financial statements.
- Obtain financial statements and submit credit applications on existing and prospective customers.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly review of past dues and take appropriate action.
- Originate profitable loan and lease contracts.
- Stay abreast of current and new regulations and competitor product offerings. Remain current on changes within the equipment finance industry.
- Work in conjunction with our banks to offer unique solutions to the equipment finance needs of our current and potential customers.
Job Specifications: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) years minimum in commercial lending and or commercial equipment finance experience with an emphasis in evaluation and origination of credits.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Obtain the designation of Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) within the first 12 months; required.
- Ability to travel frequently and on short notice.
