Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF), a division of Wintrust Financial Corporation (Nasdaq WTFC), is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial individual who can attract, train and be a mentor for a fast growing direct origination platform. This position will be a part of the senior management team, report directly to the President, and help set strategy for the growth of the organization. Positive, can do, outlook a must for this fast paced and dynamic organization. The position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization on a national level based in our Frisco, TX headquarters. WFC specializes in loan and lease products secured by fixed assets consisting of property, plant and equipment including but not limited to: rail, marine, trucking construction, manufacturing, technology, energy, and healthcare.

Qualifications:
- Proven sales leadership success in the equipment finance and leasing industry.
- Successful track record in recruiting, training, mentoring and managing a national direct sales team.
- Experience in the development and oversight of the CRM platform (Salesforce.com).
- Ability to lead and direct out of footprint prospecting activities of the team including cold calling, targeted email marketing campaigns, networking, and identifying new industry opportunities.
- Successful execution in the mid and large ticket sector focused on the middle market (S&P B to BB equivalent) segment.
- Strong technical skills in structuring, pricing, underwriting analysis, and documentation of loan and lease transactions.
- Strong collaboration and process management skills required as the position will interact with credit, legal, asset management and operations departments to provide best in class execution for our clients.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred along with at least 10 years of experience in the equipment finance and lease industry.
