Osborne Joins Accord Financial as Senior Vice President

Accord Financial Corp. has created a new executive leadership position, hiring Cathy Osborne as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Osborne will lead all human resources functions across the entire Accord Financial organization, developing a unified culture between the firms six operating units. She will be located in the firm’s Chicago office.

“Cathy will be a guiding force in shaping the culture of our organization by developing strategies to encourage innovation, collaboration and career mobility,” stated Simon Hitzig, President and Chief Executive Officer. “One of Accord’s guiding principles is that people matter; Cathy will bring this idea to life by developing programs to attract and retain the best and the brightest. I look forward to working alongside her as the company continues its fast-paced growth strategy.”

Osborne’s responsibilities will include driving strategy as it relates to human capital and workforce planning to develop engaged employees. She will advance Accord’s HR infrastructure, implementing policies and procedures related to recruitment, benefits, code of conduct, performance management and compensation. She has a wealth of experience leading the HR function across a range of industries with her most recent position as Vice President, Human Resources at Leopardo Construction Company. She has her bachelor of science from Northern Illinois University.

Accord’s flexible finance programs cover asset-based lending, including: factoring, inventory finance, equipment finance, trade finance and film/media finance.
