De Lage Landen Financial Services (DLL) recently hosted its 2014 Healthcare Symposium: A Vision for the Future. The Symposium, developed for manufacturers and other key stakeholders, provided an inside look at the trends shaping the U.S. Healthcare market—direct from industry thought leaders.
“Given the current healthcare landscape and tough choices all industry players are being faced with, we felt the timing was perfect to connect our partners with experts dedicated to finding solutions for these challenges,” said Mark McGovern, Deputy President, Healthcare, DLL. “At DLL, we are committed to understanding our business segments—including healthcare—as well as our customers, so we found the sessions as beneficial as our participants did.”
Trine Tsouderos, Director, Health Research Institute, PwC, delivered the keynote address, titled: Beyond the Affordable Care Act: New Health Economy – New Entrants.
Both healthcare consultants as well as leadership from top health organizations in the region, including Independence Blue Cross, were on hand to address the impact of topics, such as:

- Retail clinics and telemedicine;
- Medical Technology Innovation; and
- Reimbursement
