Ritchie Bros. sold more than US$57 million of equipment and trucks at its unreserved public auction in Houston, Texas on April 15 – 16, 2015. More than 3,800 items were sold, including 100+ excavators, 60+ crawler tractors, 55+ cranes, as well as a large selection of farm tractors, wheel loaders, loader backhoes, and more. A massive selection of transportation items were sold on the second day of the auction, including 280+ truck tractors, 345+ trailers, and more. Every item was sold without minimum bids or reserve prices. Bids were made in person at the auction site, online at rbauction.com and by proxy.

"We had a very successful two-day auction in Houston that attracted thousands of on-site and online bidders from 46 countries to compete on a great selection of late-model construction equipment, and hundreds of trucks and trailers," said Alan McVicker, Regional Sales Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "As with every Ritchie Bros auction, the bidders knew that each and every item would be sold unreserved to a new owner on auction day."

More than 4,200 people registered to bid in person or online at rbauction.com. Buyers from outside Texas purchased $32+ million (57%) of equipment and trucks, and equipment was sold to buyers from as far away as the United Arab Emirates, Bolivia, Indonesia, and Nicaragua.
