First American Equipment Finance has been ranked on Entrepreneur Magazine’s inaugural Top Company Cultures List, a comprehensive ranking of U.S.-based businesses exhibiting high performance cultures.  First American was recognized for creating an exceptional entrepreneurial culture that drives employee engagement, exceeds employee expectations and directly impacts company success.

“First American’s strong culture is the result of the enthusiasm and ambition of each and every employee,” said Alan Sikora, CEO of First American Equipment Finance.  “Our small teams, empowered employees and staff-led initiatives help our colleagues to achieve their personal and professional goals.”

Ray Hennessey, Editorial Director of Entrepreneur.com, agreed with Sikora and explained the reason behind launching this inaugural ranking.

“Creating an entrepreneurial culture is a key priority for business leaders, yet no one until now has really assessed the role culture plays in success,” said Ray Hennessey, editorial director of Entrepreneur.com.  “This ranking celebrates the dedication that all teams, from entry-level to the C-suite, have in ensuring they are creating vibrant, healthy and sustainable work environments.”

The ranking includes a total of 75 companies in three size categories: small (25-49 employees), medium (50-99 employees) and large (100+ employees).  First American, with approximately 145 employees, was classified on the Large Enterprise list.  Core insights, behaviors, and best practices among the recognized high-performing cultures are shared in the ranking.

The rankings were determined by using the CultureIQ methodology for measuring high-performance business environments.  Employees at each company received a survey that was used to assess a company’s strength across 10 core qualities of an entrepreneurial culture, such as a focus on performance and innovation.
