Ivory Consulting Corporation announced that all seven employees who attended the two day Academy for Lease & Finance Professionals and who took the Certified Lease & Finance Professional Foundation (CLFP) examination are now certified.
They are:
- Jim Alnas-Benson, CLFP – Operations and Technical Support Manager
- Phil Davidson, CLFP – Senior Software Engineer
- Chris Fischer, CLFP – Quality Assurance Analyst
- Fred Fischer, CLFP - President and CTO
- David Holmgren, CLFP – Director of Quality Assurance
- Matthew Ivory, CLFP – Training Support Specialist
- Martin Klotzman, CLFP – Marketing and Operations Manager
Phil Davidson, CLFP, said, “I took the CLFP course and exam to better understand the language of our customers -- the nuances and correct meaning of terms that are commonly used in leasing but sometimes used imprecisely. The lessons gave real world examples to understand and apply the principles taught, so I have gained a better understanding of the multiple interlocking worlds of our customers and the services they provide.” Jim Alnas-Benson, CLFP, added, “At Ivory we have been doing pricing for 33 years, but studying the CLFP curriculum has helped us better understand all the different aspects of the industry we serve.”
The CLFP designation identifies an individual as a knowledgeable professional to employers, clients, customers, and peers in the equipment finance industry. There are currently over 340 Certified Lease & Finance Professionals and Associates throughout the world.
