December 02, 2016, 06:54 AM

Asset Finance consulting and services partnership Invigors EMEA LLP, the European arm of The Alta Group, announced that Kieran O’Brien, formerly Operations Director at Cisco Capital EMEAR, has joined the firm as an Associate, based out of Dublin, Ireland.

An internationally experienced captive and vendor finance specialist, O’Brien brings over 25 years of experience in that sector to Invigors.  In 15 years at Cisco Capital, O’Brien project managed the establishment and development of its captive infrastructure in over twenty countries in EMEAR.

O’Brien’s appointment strengthens Invigors’ vendor and captive finance team in Europe and provides an important introductory platform into the leasing and asset finance market in Ireland. O’Brien commented: “I am delighted to be joining the Invigors team. The European captive and vendor markets are facing major technology challenges driven by big data and the revolution in financial services in addition to the economic and political upheavals currently taking place. I am looking forward to helping our clients to maximise the opportunities presented by those challenges as their business models evolve to meet the changing markets in Europe and elsewhere.”

Commenting on the announcement, Chris Boobyer, Senior Partner at Invigors, said: “Kieran brings a wealth of experience and expertise in captive and vendor finance operations in a wide range of countries. We are delighted that he is joining the team and believe that he will add strength and depth to our existing capabilities here in EMEA and also within the wider Alta Group.”
