March 14, 2018, 07:35 AM

Ampil, a division of Insight Investments, LLC, dedicated to delivering independent, customized vendor finance programs for technology manufacturers, systems integrators (SIs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), announced the expansion of its leadership team.

Mike Jones has joined Ampil as senior vice president of vendor finance and Steve Fiasco will serve as the organization’s northeastern business development executive. Both leaders are committed to extending the benefits of Ampil’s holistic and client-focused approach to financing programs that make it significantly easier for customers to acquire vendors’ technology products and solutions. In addition, as Ampil continues to expand, the organization will be looking to extend its services to the financing of additional collateral types.

“We launched Ampil less than a year ago and have received tremendous response from the marketplace. Growing our originations in core collateral while bringing our capabilities to new markets will be important factors in our aggressive growth goals,” said Scott Sullivan, executive vice president of Insight Investments. “Mike and Steve understand what it takes to deliver the kind of flexible and full-service programs that have a positive impact for our clients. They bring the experience and leadership that will support Ampil’s current and future growth.”

Jones brings more than 25 years of executive management and sales experience in vendor finance with both independent and bank-owned finance companies. Prior to joining Ampil, he was a senior vice president of First American Equipment Finance where he started and grew the Vendor Finance Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Texas, Dallas.

Fiasco is an executive with more than 20 years of business development and sales management experience focused on channel and vendor program development. Prior to Ampil, he served as vice president, technology finance sales manager for CIT Equipment Finance. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New Jersey City University.
