White Oak Healthcare Finance, LLC, an affiliate of White Oak Global Advisors, LLC, announced health care industry veteran Peter Zone has joined the team as a Director. Zone will focus on supporting the expansion of their business development efforts across specialized health care subsectors.

Zone has over 18 years of experience in corporate finance, including 12 years focused exclusively in health care, where he managed and contributed to deal teams instrumental in the closing of over 100 debt transactions investing over $5 billion of capital. Zone has held a broad range of roles where he has developed deep expertise in the origination, structuring, underwriting and execution of various loan products across the capital structure.

Prior to joining White Oak, Zone served as a Senior Vice President in the health care leveraged finance at GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services, and as a Senior Investment Analyst in the corporate finance group at John Hancock Financial Services.

Zone’s experience includes investments in key health care segments such as pharmaceuticals and outsourced services, medical devices and technology, acute and post-acute health care services, and alternate site delivery.
