Santander Bank Promotes Cerminaro to Commercial Banking Market Director

Santander Bank announced Robert Cerminaro has been promoted to Commercial Banking Market Director for New England. He is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s commercial business and delivering Santander’s distinct value proposition and international expertise to clients and prospects throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. He reports to David Harnisch, Santander Bank’s Head of Commercial Banking.

Cerminaro joined Santander in 2018 as the Regional Executive of Commercial Banking for Connecticut. He has more than 25 years of commercial, corporate and investment banking experience. Before joining Santander, Cerminaro served as Senior Vice President and Market Executive at KeyBank where he led the overall corporate and commercial banking business effort for the Tri-State Region. Cerminaro, who began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, brings extensive global banking experience and coverage expertise, including assignments at the regional, national and international levels.

Cerminaro holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Pittsburgh, a certificate in finance from the London School of Economics and a Master’s Degree from St. John’s University. He resides in Darien, CT.
