Huntington Bank has hired Richard Pohle as senior vice president, commercial region manager and Karen Davies as senior vice president, commercial team leader for the bank's Cleveland region. Both Pohle and Davies report directly to Huntington's regional corporate banking leader, Cleveland region President Dan Walsh.

Davies comes to Huntington from PNC and Pohle from KeyBank. Both are longtime Cleveland-based banking executives who bring a combined 46 years of experience in commercial and industrial banking to Huntington.

"Huntington will be a great environment for these two seasoned Cleveland-market corporate banking leaders," Walsh said. "Rich and Karen's experience will serve our deep customer relationships well."

In his previous role, he oversaw client acquisition and cultivation, transaction underwriting and portfolio management. Pohle began his 26-year career with Key in 1985. He has also served in senior leadership at Key supporting management of its investment bank, McDonald's Investments, and large corporate lending and portfolio management. Pohle also worked in middle market lending while at Key.

Davies has joined Huntington to lead commercial portfolio management for the bank's Cleveland region. Most recently, she worked as senior vice president, relationship manager of the Capital Markets, Equity Sponsor Group at PNC Bank, providing senior debt financing to middle market private equity firms. Davies began her 20-year career with PNC precursor National City Bank in Cleveland in 1991 and returned in 2000. She has led small business banking portfolio management and has served in senior leadership positions in the Private Client Group, Commercial Lending and Asset Based Lending for National City. Additionally, she has worked as a vice president in corporate lending
for KeyBank and Crestar/SunTrust.

"I am thrilled to have joined such a committed and accomplished leadership team at Huntington here in Cleveland," Davies said. "Huntington has made great strides in gaining local market share under Dan Walsh's guidance, and I look forward to supporting and contributing to Huntington's middle market relationship growth."
