Thomas A. Greco, Chief Executive Officer, Hilco Appraisal Services, LLC, today announced the appointment of Fred Raccosta as Senior Vice President - Relationship Manager.

Fred, who will be based in New York City, will focus on financial institutions as well as investment banks and other professional services advisory companies in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington DC. He will also call on private equity and hedge funds.

Fred has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. He was a senior lender for the CIT Group in New York and Pennsylvania and, prior thereto, a privately-owned boutique lender. For the past six years, Fred has been with Great American Group, where as a senior vice president he was responsible for managing new and existing client relationships in the Northeast region.

"We welcome Fred into the Hilco family," said Tom Greco. "His experience and understanding of asset-based lending transactions will be of great benefit to lenders, consultants and equity investors in helping move their transactions from qualification to closure."

Andy Dahlman, Senior Vice President, said, "We feel very fortunate to have Fred join Hilco. Given his deep roots in the Eastern U.S. and the respect he has earned through his work, he will be a great fit for us. We look forward to developing new relationships through Fred's network and introducing him to our current customers in the Northeast region."

Fred graduated from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. He is active in local CFA, TMA and ACG association chapters throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
