Merchants Leasing announces the change of their name to Merchants Fleet Management. This adaptation acknowledges the significant growth of the organization not only in the fleets they lease and manage, but the breadth and depth of service offerings.

The Merchants family along with the senior management team are very excited about this naming fruition. Tom Coffey , VP of Sales and Marketing shares his thoughts, "It's an exciting time to be with Merchants both as a customer and employee. In the last year we have experienced double digit growth while in just the last several months we have seen millions of dollars in infrastructure investment come on-line in the form of significant customer facing technology."

Glen Villano CEO comments, "We are very excited about the name change as it reflects our commitment to meet and exceed the long term and expanding needs of our customers.  Merchants Fleet Management aligns nicely with our mission of being the preferred fleet management partner for those customers that value a customized approach with a full array of products delivered with world class customer service."

Merchants is one of the top ten fleet leasing companies in the U.S. and provides customers nationwide a total fleet solution, which includes its unique approach to closed-end leasing in addition to traditional open-end options.
