Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc. announced the integration of Martin & Martin Auctioneers of Pelzer, S.C. into its ongoing operations.

The expansion will enable Jeff Martin Auctioneers, which has its headquarters in Brooklyn, Miss., to strengthen its presence in the southeastern United States, the company said. It has been a goal of Owner and President, Jeff Martin, to become one of the top auction companies in the nation by 2018, he said. The addition of the Pelzer operation contributes to that vision.

“I am pleased to announce Jeff Martin Auctioneers' newest chapter — expanding into the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions,” Martin said. “We are excited to build on the legacy my family has worked so hard over the years to achieve. Operating in South Carolina feels like coming back home.”

The Pelzer location will remain a fully staffed permanent operation under the direction of Jennifer Martin Upton. Martin & Martin Auctioneers has been in the auction business since 1973 and is a leader in the construction equipment and real estate auction industry. Through multiple auctions onsite and online each year, thousands of customers have grown to appreciate the level of personalized service provided by the staff at Martin & Martin Auctioneers, the company said. It plans to carry on that tradition as Jeff Martin Auctioneers expands into that region.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers said it is excited to carry on the tradition of excellence set by Debbie Martin, president of Martin & Martin, who has devoted years of service to the auction profession and looks forward to the continued success and opportunities in the coming years, doing business with southern hospitality, the Jeff Martin Auctioneers way.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers' auctions contain construction equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, farm equipment and transportation assets. The company said has experienced growth of 30 percent each year since 2009.
