People’s United Bank announced the promotion of two Healthcare Specialty Finance Team bankers: Liam Ryan, to Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Healthcare Financial Services, and Ryan Zyskowski, to Vice President, Relationship Manager, Healthcare Financial Services.

Both are part of a dedicated team specializing in providing financial services to healthcare companies across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

Ryan joined the bank in 2017 as a credit analyst supporting the Massachusetts portfolio. Since that time, he has been promoted multiple times into his current role as a Vice President, Portfolio Manager. His current responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients across the Bank’s footprint, assisting all four relationship managers with new business generation, and managing two other portfolio managers on the Healthcare team.

Prior to joining the Bank, Ryan was with Nasdaq Financial Services in their Global Corporate Solutions line of business. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in Mathematics and Economics.

Zyskowski joined the bank in 2017 as a Portfolio Manager supporting the Connecticut and New York portfolios. His responsibilities included managing a portfolio of existing clients across the bank’s footprint and assisting the relationship managers with new business underwriting. In his new role, Zyskowski will maintain certain portfolio management responsibilities while also transitioning into a relationship management position with a focus on new business generation.

Prior to joining People’s United, Zyskowski began his career in commercial banking at TD Bank, graduating from their credit training program in 2011. He worked at TD for over six years and held roles as a credit analyst, portfolio manager, and relationship manager in their Connecticut C&I department. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Connecticut in Economics.
