Law Firm Cohn & Dussi Hires Attorneys, CFO/COO

Cohn & Dussi, a full-service law firm with its principal office in Boston, MA, has added three new employees to its team: two attorneys and a Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. The firm specializes in Creditor’s Rights, Workouts and Bankruptcy, Equipment Finance and Leasing, Banking, Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law.

William J. Delaney, a commercial attorney specializing in insolvency law in Rhode Island, as well as several other New England states, has joined the firm as Counsel. Delaney served as a member of the Chapter 7 Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island in the mid 1990's and has acted as a Receiver and Special Master in Rhode Island Superior Court proceedings for over 28 years. He has had an active role as an attorney in many of the significant commercial law/insolvency cases in Rhode Island over the past 34 years.

Delaney holds an AB from the University of Notre Dame, his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his JD from Albany Law School of Union University and an LLM in American Banking Law from Boston University Law School. He is a Past President of the Rhode Island Bar Association and has been a long-time member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is admitted to practice in seven states and regularly practices in each in the areas of commercial/bankruptcy/insolvency law. He was a recipient of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico and Continuing Service Awards.

Sara Wilbraham has joined the firm as an Associate, focusing on creditor’s rights and commercial litigation with a concentration in equipment leasing and finance. Prior to joining Cohn & Dussi, Wilbraham practiced civil litigation.

She received her B.S. from Quinnipiac University and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a member of the Journal of High Technology Law as well as the Juvenile Defenders Clinic. Wilbraham is admitted to practice in Massachusetts with pending admissions in Rhode Island and in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts.

Vaughn Abraham has become the CFO/COO at Cohn & Dussi. Abraham oversees all financial aspects of the firm. Vaughn brings over 30 years of financial, legal, technology and operations experience to Cohn & Dussi. Prior to joining the firm, he held positions at Schwartz Hannum PC, Harvard University, Goodwin Procter and Raytheon Company.
