The President of Tesla Inc.’s Tesla Heavy Trucking, Jerome Guillen, has left the company, the electric-car maker said Monday. The move comes some three months after Guillen took the position.

Tesla confirmed the move in a brief filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, stating: “Jerome Guillen, President, Tesla Heavy Trucking, of Tesla, Inc. (Tesla), departed Tesla. We thank him for his many contributions and wish him well in his future career.”

Guillen, who had been with the company for over a decade, was named President of Tesla Heavy Trucking unit in March, with a mandate to lead the company’s entry into the heavy trucks market, Reuters reported. He previously oversaw the company’s entire vehicles business as President of the Automotive unit, a role to which he was appointed in 2018. Tesla has yet to begin delivering its battery-powered Semi electric commercial truck, saying supply constraints could delay its mass production to 2022.
