First American Equipment Finance announced it has ranked on the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For list for 2021. This is the 21st consecutive year the ranking has been published by Selling Power and First American’s fifth consecutive year on the list.

To assemble this year’s 50 Best list, Selling Power’s research team created a thorough application to gather data and rank companies across four main categories: compensation and benefits, sales culture, onboarding and sales enablement strategies, and sales training and coaching. Most companies featured on the list invested in thorough training specific to virtual selling in response to the pandemic. The list encompasses companies of all sizes – ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to sales force numbers in the thousands.

“Our sales colleagues have been instrumental in the growth and success of First American and ultimately, our clients,” said Alan Sikora, CEO of First American. “Their resilience and passion over the last 12 months has been inspiring. I’m proud to call them colleagues and they are very deserving of this honor.”

Mike Wiedemer, National Sales Director at First American, added, “The First American sales organization is one of a kind, and that’s due to the incredible team members who celebrate each other, challenge each other and uphold the highest standards of client service in the industry. We are honored to receive this recognition.”

First American is a place where high performers flourish. The organization’s philosophy includes hiring and retaining top talent, building a nationally recognized culture, and performance-based incentives. As a result, the sales trajectory has shown substantial growth during the last several years. The company grew from $414 million in sales in 2015 to $1.48 billion in 2020. During this time, the company created over 100 new positions in its Rochester, NY, headquarters.
