Marlin Business Services Corp. announced the hiring of Robert Henry as the General Manager of National Strategic Accounts & Programs. He will lead efforts to grow Marlin’s National Account Division.

Henry brings with him 19 years of proven leadership and equipment finance experience. Upon completion of his MBA from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business in 2008, he was accepted into General Electric’s Leadership Program, Experience Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP), for post-MBA sales and marketing leaders.

Following his successful rotation through the program, Henry moved into the equipment finance world with GE’s Capital Division as the Senior Sales Operations Manager where he supported GE’s largest accounts.

In 2014, after a year of serving as GE Capital’s New Program Development Manager, Henry transitioned out of equipment finance to join DaVita Rx as a member of the Sales Leadership Team.

By 2018, he landed at Bank of the West, where he spent the last three3 years as the Vice President of Business Development. In that role, he signed many big accounts, including the world’s largest manufacturer of milking equipment and one of China’s largest construction equipment companies.

As Marlin’s National Accounts Leader, Henry will focus on the growth and strategic direction of the National Accounts team as they continue to leverage the technology tools and best-in-class service platform to help Marlin Partners grow their business.

Mark Scardigli, Marlin’s Chief Sales Officer, said, “I am extremely excited to have someone with Robert’s background and experience join our Marlin team. He brings in-depth knowledge of business development and program management at the national account level to our organization.”
