Marc L. Hamroff, Managing Partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP (MH&H), was celebrated as an inaugural member of Hofstra University's Maurice A. Deane School of Law's Hall of Fame at a gala event held at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

Hamroff was selected as one of 50 Hofstra University School of Law's alumni inducted into its inaugural Hall of Fame as part of its 50th Anniversary celebration. Among the honorees were the school of law’s namesake Maurice A. Deane, Congressman Andrew R. Garbarino and former New York Governor David A. Paterson.

"I am honored to be recognized, along with my esteemed fellow colleagues, as a Hall of Famer as part of this remarkable inaugural class,” said Marc Hamroff.

Hofstra Law established the Hall of Fame to honor alumni whose exemplary careers, extraordinary service to the betterment of society, or outstanding contributions to the Law School have significantly impacted the Hofstra Law community and beyond. The Hall of Fame inductees were nominated by their peers, and selected by a committee of Hofstra Law alumni, faculty and administrators.

Funds raised from the gala support Hofstra Law’s Vision 2020 Campaign, which ensures that Hofstra Law continues to recruit outstanding and diverse students; expand its cutting-edge programs in areas such as legal technology; create new interdisciplinary programs with Hofstra’s medical and business schools; and make a difference in the community through its clinics and centers.

Hamroff has supported his alma mater by establishing the MH&H Business Law Honors Fellowship, the MH&H Fellowship in support of Hofstra Law's Access to Justice Incubator and the Marc L. Hamroff Annual Scholarship.
