Jesse Johnson officially launched Consult Disrupt, a consulting organization formed to support equipment finance organizations with their day-to-day operations and technology related projects.

“I have been fortunate to work in this industry for the past 18 years and want to bridge the gap between service providers and the equipment finance organizations they serve,” said Jesse Johnson, President of Consult Disrupt. “Service provider selection has traditionally come down to two factors - business and technical requirements. What is missing is the cultural synergies between the organizations. If organizations aren’t aligned from a cultural standpoint it can lead to future challenges and negative experiences between both parties.”

Consult Disrupt offers general consulting services to the equipment finance industry with areas of focus on: lease accounting software RFPs creation and selection, process and implementations, lease/loan accounting system expertise and support, executive business coaching, and being the “connector” that matches equipment finance organizations with the appropriate industry service provider that meets both current and future needs. Consult Disrupt resources will not only assist in setting the operational and technical strategy, but they will also be hands on throughout the implementation and conversion.

“Equipment finance and leasing organizations continually struggle with implementing and maintaining technology platforms,” said Johnson. “We are building a platform of talented individuals to support technology related projects including lease accounting software implementations and conversions, system upgrades and point releases, report creation and maintenance, and module and system training.”
