Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) added Brian Smith as Vice President Commercial Portfolio Loan Officer. Based out of Downtown Concord, Smith will focus on developing and maintaining the bank’s commercial loan portfolio by working with business customers to help secure funding.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to join The Merrimack, who has such a great track record for putting people first these last 156 years,” said Smith. “I look forward to serving our local communities and establishing meaningful relationships that help promote success.”

Smith comes to The Merrimack with more than three decades of experience managing loan portfolios, most recently in the automotive industry. Outside of the office, Smith has spent many years coaching youth sports and volunteering at the Manchester Animal Shelter and New Horizons Food Pantry. He resides in Bedford with his wife, Camie, and two of their four children.
