GE Attempts to Retain Key Employees, WSJ

The Wall Street Journal reports that General Electric Co. has taken steps to prevent key employees at GE Capital from leaving the company offering retention bonuses to select executives, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Wall Street Journal also reports GE is requiring bidders interested in purchasing its leveraged-finance operation to agree not to hire GE’s employees for 12 months, according to a copy of the terms reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
