Solutions include equipment financing loans, TRAC leases and equipment revolving lines of credits. Primary markets served include construction, transportation, marine and healthcare.

The Ameris Bank Equipment Financing team is comprised of veterans who have deep expertise in the markets they serve enabling them to safely structure financing and leasing solutions that will best allow the customer to improve profitability and sustainability. Chris L. Regas – SVP, Equipment Financing President - holding over 35 years of experience in the heavy equipment financing sector Regas heads up the Equipment Financing Division. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, he worked as the VP for U.S. Sales with Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. Chris earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Vanderbilt University. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and the Board of Governors for San Jose Country Club.

Gary L. Young – SVP, Equipment Financing Credit - Young has been in the equipment financing industry for over 40 years. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, he worked with Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation as the Credit Manager. Gary is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received his bachelors of art degree in finance. He resides in Nashville with his wife Vicki and enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren.

Mike O’Hare – SVP, Sales - O'Hare holds over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, he worked as the Senior Vice President for Fleet Advantage, LLC and the SVP, Sales Director of Specialty Markets Groups for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Equipment Finance Group. O'Hare earned a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Florida. He serves as a board member for the Deerwood Rotary Club and has served as the board chairperson for the Guardian Catholic Schools and Caddy Shack Charity Golf Event.

John Marino – SVP, Sales Officer - Marino has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a vast majority of his experience in equipment financing. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, he worked as a Regional Manager for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. Marino earned a bachelor’s of art degree from St. Mary’s University and an MBA from St. Louis University. He has served as the President of the Board of Directors for Marianist Retreat and Conference Center, President of the St. Louis Chapter of the St. Mary’s Alumni Association and Chairman of Ascension Parish Archdiocesan Development Appeal.

Vince Cornnel – SVP, Sales - Cornnel is the newest member to the Equipment Financing Team. Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Cornell served as vice president, business development for Fleet Advantage LLC and as national account sales executive for Paccar Leasing Company.
