Chief Operating Officer
Location: Wyoming

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day to day management of the C. H. Brown operation to include sales, administration, and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assume the responsibility for developing and implementing overall policy, plans, and programs relative to credit and loans, operations, personnel, compliance, and other major functions of the operation.
  • Establish the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Discuss and coordinate budget and financial planning, loans, and other matters of the Company.
  • Manage the sales, operations, and administrative departments of the organization.
  • Work with managers regarding business development, staffing requirements, generating efficiencies, and overall portfolio performance.
COMPLIANCE:
  • Maintain audit, security, compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Keep informed of changes in general, banking services, procedures, and in the economy as well.
MISCELLANEOUS OTHER DUTIES:
  • Assist with company functions when possible.
  • Fill in for other departments and/or companies when high volume creates a need if it works within the department/company schedule.
  • Work Saturdays and some holidays as needed.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as requested or designated by the COO of Wyoming Banks.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or three years’ experience in banking, agriculture or the trucking industry required.
  • Speak, read and write English is essential.
  • Excellent computer skills in various applications. Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher; and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Reader; and Content Management Systems for websites.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, on-going development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, team skills, self-sufficient/self-starting, detail oriented, time management, ability to read, understand and interpret information involved in job, ability to learn, think and concentrate.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
  • Normal working days are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours). Some weekends, nights, and/or holidays may be required.
  • Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Must possess skills to maintain harmonious working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, media and customers.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.
