Channel Partners Equipment Finance is recruiting strong sales candidates for a variety of sales positions to drive the launch of our equipment finance group. If you have a strong equipment finance sales and business development history, please contact CPEF. Positions under consideration include; Internal Sales Representatives, National/Regional Sales Managers and Business Development. Individuals hired will be responsible for establishing and executing a growth strategy to identify and develop partner relationships within equipment finance industry. Sales and business development positions will be the primary relationship and contact with EFCs (Equipment Finance Companies) and TPOs (Third Party Originators); actively managing customer contact, expectations, new product/program development, and the sales pipeline. Top candidates should be able to identify, qualify and develop EFC and TPO partnerships, and understand equipment finance products for small to mid-sized business customers, insuring fulfillment of annual financial goals for CPEF.

Key Tasks
  • Works with SVP Equipment Finance and marketing to define sales strategy and key business targets.
  • Identifies and develops partners and prospects within the Equipment Finance team: establishes strong client relationships with both existing and new accounts.
  • Successfully works with partners on the value-add benefits and merit of doing business with Channel Partners Equipment Finance.
  • Ensures partners are successfully qualified, closed, and moved from activity to activation status.
  • Maintains partner communications and relationship actively to ensure retention of existing business and expansion of opportunities as well as referrals.
  • Primary point of contact for all TPO inquiries and problem solving on a day to day basis, manages escalations and exceptions as needed.
  • Drives product initiatives to expand the growth and success of the funding partner relationships. Works with internal colleagues to ensure products and systems meet client needs and executes campaigns and product rollouts.
  • Collaborates with marketing to design new creative products, programs and industry driven marketing pieces and tests them for effectiveness.
  • Plans, implements and reports on sales activities, pipeline and new partner development.
Skills and Specifications
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented and eager to be part of a rapidly growing business.
  • Strong understanding of end to end equipment finance sales process for third parties, preferably in small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Strong understanding of small business, to include knowledge working capital financing, and ability to provide operational guidance to EFCs and TPOs.
  • Solid understanding of multiple markets and industries.
  • Expert in relationship initiation, building and management; superior communications and interpersonal skills.
Education and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years selling experience to lessors and/or third-party equipment finance partners.
  • 3-5 years of experience in small ticket leasing across multiple industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of reaching assigned sales goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Depending on position, availability to travel domestically 30-50%.
