AP Equipment Financing

Account Manager
Location: Remote

The Equipment Sales Account Manager is a career-oriented opportunity in the equipment finance industry. It requires a self-starter with an ambitious type of attitude who can work independently, but in a team environment. You must have high standards and the desire to learn, grow, innovate, and become an impact player. There is a high sense of urgency instilled in each member of our team and being naturally proactive is an absolute necessity with everything we do. The culture at AP Equipment Financing is highly stimulating, challenging & rewarding with little time for idleness.

Essential Functions
  • Engaging and prospecting by phone to small & medium sized businesses
  • Effectively communicate in writing & verbally with colleagues, prospects, clients, and related referral source parties such as equipment vendors & truck dealers
  • Identify potential opportunities with end-users and vendors/dealers
  • Become a subject matter expert for target markets/industries
  • Develop & maintain relationships with business owners

  • Reliable candidate with the desire to establish themselves as a sales professional in the commercial finance industry
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
  • Self-confidence and initiative
  • The ability to problem solve and take pride in your work
  • Organized and goal oriented
  • PC literate in a Microsoft Windows environment is must
  • Salesforce or Contact Management Software (CRM) preferred, but not require

  • Base salary ($40k to $60k DOE) + 50% commission. Must go 100% commission within 6 months
  • Performance based bonuses and/or discretionary company incentives
  • Medical (HSA)/Dental/Vision
  • 401k Plan-3% employer contribution
  • 100% remote. Computer equipment provided, plus cell phone and home office stipend.

Working Conditions: Spend 100% of time working on laptop and phone; 4-5 hours of phone work per day. Limited travel (1-2 days per quarter) to other offices or trade shows.
