Job Description

Beacon Funding is actively looking for tenured financial sales representatives with specialized experience in the equipment leasing and finance industry. Ideal candidates have expertise in cultivating business relationships with vendors, manufacturers, distributors, dealerships, and resellers. The role involves positioning Beacon Funding's brand and financial solutions as a strategic competitive advantage. You will have access to our proprietary finance platform, robust marketing capabilities, and substantial business development support. This role offers the flexibility of working from home or an office. We are also open to discussions with sales leaders who have teams interested in joining our successful organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prospect, build and grow new manufacturing/dealer/vendor equipment financing referral relationships;
  • Interface with vendors and internal deal transaction teams to ensure relationships run smoothly;
  • Build strong business relationships with both senior sales and operational contacts at new and existing vendors;
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the territory;
  • Leverage pre-established relationships with equipment dealer, manufacturer, and resellers;
  • Help to expand existing Beacon Funding vendor equipment financing referral programs;
Job Requirements
  • Experience having managed and grown equipment financing vendor referral relationships
  • Strong familiarity with equipment financing products and programs and the equipment financing needs of equipment vendor partners
  • Proficiency in relationship management via in-person meetings, virtual events, phone, and email
  • Willingness to travel to visit with vendors at their offices, on the road with them while selling and during client events such as trade shows
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional skills in developing and cultivating strategic relationships
  • Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective networking skills for internal and external problem-solving
  • Forward-thinking with a focus on process improvements
  • Aptitude for multitasking and managing concurrent tasks
  • A four-year college degree is preferred, though equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Experience sourcing and closing equipment financing transactions
