The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its March 2013 Booked Orders increased 7.2% when compared to March 2012 orders. March 2013 booked orders when compared to February 2013 booked orders were up 23.6%.

March Booked Orders were up 10.6% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 32.6% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to February. CEMA’s March 2013 Billed Sales (shipments) decreased by 8.2% when compared to March 2012 sales.  March 2013 billed sales when compared to February 2013 billed sales were up 1.2%.

March Billed Sales were up 9.7% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 5.0% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to February.
