Med One Group, a medical equipment leasing, rental, and sales company headquartered in Sandy, UT, has appointed Sheri Thomas and Leslie Snavely to the Board of Directors. Thomas is Vice President of Finance & Accounting with Coherex Medical (a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson) and Snavely is Chief Digital Officer at CHG Healthcare.

Thomas began her career with Price Waterhouse in San Francisco where she started in auditing and later transferred into consulting. Her audit clients ran the spectrum from small non-profit organizations to large oil and gas corporations. As a consultant, Thomas helped an international consumer products company implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. She assisted companies with IPO offerings and consulted a large semiconductor company on a litigation project. She has worked for WordPerfect, later acquired by Novell, and Phone Directories Company. Eventually, Thomas joined Coherex Medical in 2009 as its Controller where she helped implement a new ERP system. She was promoted to VP, Finance & Accounting in 2010, and Coherex was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2015. She continues to work for Johnson & Johnson assisting them with the integration of Coherex. Thomas has also served the past seven years as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a masters in accounting. She continues to teach a variety of School of Accountancy bachelor and master level classes. Thomas is a Certified Public Account (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Snavely was named CHG Healthcare’s Chief Digital Officer in 2018. In this new position, Snavely guides the company’s digital strategy as CHG continues to develop platforms and tools to help its growing customer base, which includes medical providers in more than 100 specialties and healthcare facilities across the U.S. and the world. Prior to this new position, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for CHG, where she led a team of more than 100 marketing professionals and helped guide the company’s corporate strategy as a member of CHG’s executive team. In everything she does, she focuses on leveraging creative thinking and strategy to grow business and develop her teams. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH, with a bachelor’s of science degree in finance and accounting. She has been named one of Utah Business magazine’s “40 under 40” and serves on the executive committee of the Women’s Leadership Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to elevating the stature of women’s leadership in Utah.

“We are extremely fortunate to have these two talented individuals to join us on the board and we know that each of them will make important contributions to the long-term success of Med One,” said Larry Stevens, President and CEO of Med One Group.

In addition to Snavely and Thomas, the Board of Directors includes CEO Stevens, Med One Executive Vice President and Co-Owner Brent H. Allen, Robert C. Gross, Lane A. Summerhays, Mark Oligschlaeger, Randy C. Emery, William J. Brady and Richard H. Madsen.
