Hasko Elected President of Messerli Kramer

October 02, 2019, 07:15 AM

Messerli Kramer announced Joshua A. Hasko has been elected President of the firm, succeeding John Lank.

Hasko has been an active member of the firm’s board of directors and served as chair of the Business Litigation Department.

“Josh has taken on a number of key leadership roles over the years and we are confident in his ability to move the firm forward during this time of change in the legal industry,” said Bill Hicks, who has served with Hasko on the firm’s board.

“I am humbled and honored to have the support of my colleagues and I am excited for the opportunities ahead,” said Hasko. “Messerli Kramer is committed to distinguishing ourselves in the market by not only delivering high quality legal work and exceptional client service, but also through investing in our people and our culture. We have talented lawyers, great clients and a dedicated staff that is second to none. We will continue to look for growth opportunities, new practice areas, future leaders, increased diversity and enhanced technology to best serve our clients.”

Hasko practices in the areas of commercial litigation and creditor’s remedies and is highly respected by his peers in the industry, as evidenced by his many recognitions, including Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyer by Minnesota Super Lawyers and Best Lawyer by The Best Lawyers in America.

He doesn’t expect his new role to slow down his busy practice.

“The board was strategic in creating the duties for the role to ensure success for a practicing attorney. They recognized that leadership transition is critical to the longevity of the firm and attorneys with a thriving practice shouldn’t have to choose between the desire to lead the firm and serve their clients,” noted Hasko.
