Capital One Bank announced the appointment of George Revock as managing director and head of alternative energy and project finance. In this role, Revock will provide financing solutions to the alternative energy and project finance marketplaces.  He will report to Spencer Gagnet, managing director, Capital Markets and will be based out of Capital One Bank’s New York offices.

“George brings a wealth of experience to Capital One Bank,” said Gagnet. “He is a great fit with our organization, and his professionalism and expertise will help us deliver superior performance to clients who look to us for industry expertise and solutions that meet their unique needs.”

"The addition of an experienced and talented banker like George demonstrates Capital One's commitment to growing and expanding our energy business into new sectors, including alternative energy," said Jim McBride, who heads Capital One Securities’ Energy Banking Division.

"I am delighted to join Capital One Bank's Capital Markets team,” said Revock. “I look forward to helping provide capital and client-focused solutions to the alternative energy industry while also advancing the Bank’s commitment to environmental sustainability."

Prior to joining Capital One Bank, Revock served 13 years at Citigroup where he advised clients in structuring financings in the power sector, invested and syndicated tax equity investments, and financed nearly $15 billion of power assets. Revock previously worked at Deloitte, where he provided financial advisory services to clients in the power sector.

Revock holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, and has a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
