Freedom Truck Finance (Freedom) announced its entrance into the transportation equipment finance market with a proven automotive lending track record, targeted programs and unsurpassed customer service.

Freedom is a secondary class 8 truck finance company that indirectly provides financing solutions for truck customers who are unable to secure financing from traditional lenders. Blake Bozman, Managing Director/Marketing says, “There is a secondary financing void felt by many truck dealerships. Freedom’s mission is to fill this void by creating more lending opportunity for independent truckers to own their own equipment.”

Freedom’s founding partners have a proven track record in the secondary auto finance market as principals with Drive Financial Services (now Santander Consumer USA) at its inception in 1992. The company draws upon dealership experience, a common-sense/solution-based approach to lending, and an appreciation for outstanding customer support.

The new lending source has entered the market in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia. These states are determined to be strong markets in terms of overall truck sales volume for owner - operators and independent truckers. Freedom plans to expand into other states in coming months.

"Freedom is excited by the opportunity to help truck dealerships deliver more vehicles, and help more independent truckers and small trucking companies own their own equipment. We hope to transform the truck finance industry with the same approach that we used at Drive/Santander in the auto sector," says Bozman.

The successful collateral-based, common-sense approach allows potential customers to stand on their own merit, and solution-based decisions will ultimately allow dealerships the opportunity to meet the needs of more customers with a structure that puts everyone involved in a position to succeed.
