2020 AACFB Annual Conference Moves to September

Related: AACFB, COVID-19

The American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (AACFB) announced in March that its 2020 Annual Conference, scheduled for May 6-8 in Las Vegas would likely need to be postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis. Since that time, the association has been diligently working with its hotel partners to provide a solution that would allow the event to take place. While Caesars Palace did not have the availability to accommodate the program later in the year, fortunately the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., was able to offer an expansion that would allow the 2020 AACFB Annual Conference to be held at the property over the dates of Sept. 1-3, 2020.

Effectively, the AACFB Commercial Financing Expo originally scheduled to take place in September in Washington, D.C. will not be held this year to allow for the annual conference to move forward. However, it will return for 2021. Any attendees or exhibitors already registered for the annual conference will have their registrations moved forward to the September event. Should a registered attendee no longer be able to attend, refunds will be available. Anyone wishing to register for the September event may do so at www.aacfb.org.

AACFB President Paul Burnham said, “We are so pleased to be able to move forward with our 2020 Annual Conference! The Conference Planning Committee and so many others have worked very hard to put together an outstanding line-up of educational and networking opportunities and this move will allow those efforts to come to fruition. The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the historic center of D.C. and will be the perfect place for our industry colleagues to come together and to get our businesses back on track.”
