J.P. Morgan Names New Business Head in Commercial Banking

J.P. Morgan announced James Roddy as the new Global Head of Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI), Commercial Banking. Roddy will report directly Doug Petno, CEO of Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase.

Roddy was the Co-Head of CIB’s Global Diversified Industries Investment Banking business. He is a proven leader with more than 20 years of experience at J.P. Morgan.

Roddy managed investment banking relationships with long-standing clients across the capital goods, aerospace and defense, automotive, transportation, basic materials, chemicals and metals, and mining sectors. Prior to Global Diversified Industries, Roddy was instrumental in creating CIB’s market-leading Regional Investment Banking group and worked in Global M&A for more than a decade.

J.P. Morgan’s Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI) business in Commercial Banking focuses on mid-to-large cap companies with complex financing needs. These organizations rely on its complete range of banking services, including credit, treasury and payments, investment banking, capital markets solutions and asset management.
