July 20, 2021, 07:17 AM

The Equipment Finance Cares NJ/NY event will be on Tuesday Aug. 17 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rockland County Country Club in Sparkill, NY. The event will be headlined by Paperclip author, Lovern Gordon, who has been with Boston Financial & Equity Corporation since 1999. She will be discussing her domestic violence memoir, “The Legacy He Left Me.”

“We had a great turnout at our first event in Minneapolis,” said Brooke Eisenhart, CEO of Paperclip Publishing. “We are looking forward to continuing the momentum of the Equipment Finance Cares initiative at our next event in the New Jersey/New York area.”

Equipment Finance Cares thought leadership panels will be moderated by Lisa Rafter, CEO of MonitorDaily, and Jesse Johnson, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at JDR Solutions. The format will be two, one-hour panel discussions with equipment finance professionals and will wrap up with a two-hour networking reception.

“Equipment Finance Cares provides an educational platform of thought leadership ideas from industry leaders and even more importantly, an opportunity to learn more about the Domestic Violence epidemic that is plaguing the world today,” said Eisenhart.

The first panel will be comprised of operational equipment finance professionals including Nancy Robles,  Eastern Funding; Paul Vecker, Macrolease; and Denny Smith, PeaPack Capital. The second group consists of equipment finance sales professionals and includes Keith Smith, Star Hill Financial; Stephanie Hall, BankFinancial; and Shawn Arnone, Key Equipment Finance.

Equipment Finance Cares is a platform that showcases how equipment finance professionals and organizations are giving back to their respective communities.  Foundations currently showcased for this event include Love Life Now, Magic Charities, Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation, Paperclip Charities, and CEFI United Way.

Paperclip would like to thank its growing list of sponsors including Wolters Kluwer, Dedicated Commercial Recovery, Great American Insurance, JDR Solutions, PeaPack Capital, Star Hill Financial, Eastern Funding and BankFinancial.
