Tamarack Elevates Arias to VP of Professional Services

February 23, 2022, 07:20 AM

Tamarack Technology, Inc., a provider of independent software solutions in the equipment finance and commercial lending industry, has promoted Norma Arias to Vice President of Professional Services. In her new role, Arias will bring her leadership and processes experience to manage Tamarack’s fast-growing Professional Services team and maintain the highest levels of client service.

Since joining Tamarack in 2020, Arias has been instrumental in the growth of Tamarack’s Professional Service team. In addition to overseeing the successful implementation of multiple client projects, she has led efforts to implement processes to improve delivery and reporting.

“In the past year, Tamarack has grown exponentially,” said Tamarack founder and CEO Daniel Nelson. “As we grow, it is critical to us that we deliver the same high level of client service that Tamarack is known for delivering. Because of her background, Norma is ideally suited to take on this new role within the company. Not only does she understand the technology and process side of the equation but also how to establish an internal foundation that continues to place a priority on meeting and exceeding client expectations for delivery and service.”

Over her 30-year career in the industry that included time at Dell Financial Services, Bank of the West, Trinity Capital Corporation and American National Leasing, Arias gained a wealth of experience in data conversions, portfolio management and operational processing.

“Having worked extensively on development of origination system and lease accounting system solutions - first on the client side and now on the provider side - I innately understand the expectations for delivery and service,” said Arias. “In this new role, I will be building the infrastructure, both processes and people, necessary to support the company’s growth and our client’s success.”

A graduate of San Francisco State University, Arias will continue to be based in the greater San Francisco Bay area.
