Ethan Markel has been named Director - Originations with Truist Equipment Finance where he will be responsible for Commercial Banking clients primarily in the Carolinas market.

Markel joins Truist with over 10 years of financial services experience, most recently at Banc of America Leasing & Capital LLC where he served as Vice President - Originations. Markel began his career at PNC Bank where he spent time in a variety of roles including underwriting and relationship management focused primarily on the commercial and large corporate segments. Markel is based out of Charlotte, NC and reports to Scott Lackovitch - Managing Director and Head of Commercial Originations.
