Honour Capital Co-Founder/CEO Brian Slipka has been recognized as one of the 500 Most Powerful and Influential Leaders in Minnesota in 2022 by Greenspring Media, an initiative of Minnesota Monthly.

The Minnesota 500 celebrates Minnesota’s leading business executives across myriad industries. It began as a list of more than 7,000 executives. After months of research, list’s editors culled this down to the top 500 using a host of criteria, looking at everything from the impact each executive is having on their industry as a whole (both in their current role and prior roles), the success and impact the company itself is having under their leadership, special awards or accolades both in the executives’ professional and personal lives, participation in community/philanthropic endeavors, position on other boards, and the like.

Early in his career, Slipka worked his way up through sales and leadership positions at major professional services and technology companies and ultimately served as an executive at one of the largest bank-owned tech financing companies in the country. Throughout this time, Slipka began investing in numerous independent operating companies, eventually forming the framework of today’s True North Equity Partners. Through True North, he has acquired controlling interest in over 25 independent operating companies across varied and diverse industries, including Honour Capital, LLC. Today, the combined family of independently owned businesses has revenues in excess of $220 million.

Slipka is committed to servant leadership and to igniting and activating individuals and organizations to support education, character-building, and community involvement. As such, he serves on the SEARCH Ministries National Board of Trustees. In addition, he and his wife, Megan, founded the Slipka Foundation, a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to these principles, through which they have funded numerous scholarships and supported many missional partners.
