Fleet Advantage announced Marketing Manager Elizabeth Gomez was named a 2023 Top Woman to Watch in Transportation by the Women In Trucking Association's "Redefining the Road" Magazine.
As a member of the Fleet Advantage team for over five years, Gomez has been a central figure in the promotion and education of Fleet Advantage programs at several transportation industry events, such as the Women In Trucking Association's annual Accelerate! Conference & Expo, which help fleets better understand how to remain flexible and agile with business operations in a time when it’s imperative to “do more with less.” Since being promoted to Marketing Manager in 2022, Gomez has played an instrumental role in the onboarding of Fleet Advantage’s new clients.
Gomez has recognized the staunch importance of mentorship in the industry, as she has guided other Fleet Advantage employees with their day-to-day activities and projects based on her industry experience and company tenure. Within Fleet Advantage’s marketing department, Elizabeth also manages and mentors another employee directly and continues to mentor her in all aspects of her career while helping her grow professionally. Additionally, Gomez has significant influence and involvement of promoting community volunteer events, and donations through Fleet Advantage’s foundation, Kids Around The Corner. The foundation helps families and children through various donations, typically to smaller, local charities that are 501(c) organizations in different communities around the country. Over the last two years, under Gomez’ leadership, Kids Around The Corner has expanded its reach and success to include various new organizations, associations and affiliations in local communities, where her leadership has helped the foundation organize $175,000 in donations to over 18 organizations in 2022 alone.
