August 23, 2023, 07:18 AM

Tamarack Technology, Inc., a provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-based automation and business intelligence products and software integration services for the equipment finance industry, has expanded its executive leadership team with the addition of Mitch Peterson as Executive Vice President of Operations. In this role, Peterson will lead the company’s professional services team and oversee all IT and human resources activities.

“As Tamarack continues its growth trajectory, it is critical that we have the infrastructure and personnel in place to manage all aspects of our operations – from delivering professional services to technology,” said Scott Nelson, President and Chief Digital Officer at Tamarack. “Mitch brings expertise that will be key to our ability to continue exceeding client expectations. His background in driving operational efficiencies and process optimization will be invaluable to Tamarack's continued success in a fast-paced and ever-evolving technology landscape.”

Peterson has a proven track record of success in operational leadership with more than two decades of delivering transformational programs and growing technology organizations. Prior to joining Tamarack, he scaled client operations of two hyper-growth digital health startups – Truepill and Icario. In these roles, Peterson was responsible for organization-wide client delivery, revenue realization, product and engineering capacity planning, and client portfolio management. He was instrumental in increasing program launches for both startups from 31 to 244 in four years and led more than 650 client implementations over a six-year period.

Over his career, Peterson has developed a wealth of experience from positions at Boston Scientific, Thomson Prometric and GE Capital. At these organizations, he was involved in leading client delivery, program performance, and multiple technology teams, as well as client relationship management efforts.

Peterson earned his MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and his bachelor’s degree in computer management systems from Northwest Missouri State University.
