KLC Financial announced that Lesley Farmer has been named a 2025 Top Women in Finance honoree by Finance & Commerce, and has been inducted into the Circle of Excellence. This accolade is reserved for honorees who have been recognized more than once, reflecting sustained leadership, impact and excellence.

“Lesley’s induction into the Circle of Excellence is richly deserved,” said Spencer Thomas, CEO of KLC Financial. “Her consistent track record of delivering exceptional client results, growing revenue, and fostering relationships sets a standard few achieve—and maintain. We are proud of her leadership, vision and how she lifts others up along the way.”

Farmer has been with KLC Financial for nearly two decades, where she is recognized as one of the top performers in the nation in equipment financing. She has built a strong niche in the family entertainment industry, helping clients expand into new markets. By structuring flexible financing solutions that fit seasonal business models and growth demands, she has enabled operators to acquire the attractions and equipment needed to grow while maintaining financial stability.

Beyond her contributions to KLC’s business success, Farmer is deeply involved in her community. She serves on the boards of the Risk Management Association of Minnesota and the Turnaround Management Association of Minnesota, and gives back locally as a volleyball coach at Edina High School.

“Being named to the Circle of Excellence is humbling,” said Farmer. “To me, this recognition isn’t about individual success—it’s about the partnerships and relationships built over the years. I’m grateful to my clients, colleagues, and community for allowing me to play a small role in their growth and success.”

This year’s Finance & Commerce Top Women in Finance honorees will be profiled in the magazine and celebrated at an awards event on Thursday, November 13, at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis.
