October 03, 2025, 07:05 AM

Pinnacle Financial Partners has added two financial advisors in the Atlanta area, further strengthening its commercial banking presence across North Georgia. Ward McCamy is based at the firm’s Sugarloaf office, and Eric Rein is based at the Riverwood office. Both bring decades of experience helping businesses thrive and will serve clients across northeast Georgia, including Gwinnett, Cobb and Cherokee counties.

“Ward knows this market inside and out,” said Baimba Norman, financial advisor. “Clients trust him because he shows up with thoughtful advice, a clear understanding of what matters most to them and a genuine desire to help them succeed.”

“Eric brings the kind of steady leadership and market insight that makes a real difference for clients,” said Chris Gruehn, financial advisor. “He’s built deep relationships in Cherokee and Cobb counties and is fully invested in helping business leaders grow and give back. That’s exactly the kind of banker Pinnacle was made for.”

McCamy joins Pinnacle from Bank of America. Prior to that he served at Wells Fargo in commercial lending and business banking. McCamy is active in the community through leadership roles with the Boys and Girls Club of Lanier, Young Life, the Auburn Alumni Association and other local nonprofits.

Rein comes to Pinnacle from Renasant Bank, where he was senior vice president. He previously held leadership positions at Wells Fargo, State Bank & Trust and other community-focused institutions. Rein is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds an MBA from Colorado State University. He is deeply connected to Cherokee County, where he recently served as board chair for the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce.

Pinnacle Financial Partners provides a full range of banking, investment, trust, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for businesses and their owners and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution. The firm is the No. 1 bank in the Nashville-Murfreesboro-Franklin MSA, according to 2025 deposit data from the FDIC. Pinnacle is No. 9 on FORTUNE magazine’s 2025 list of 100 Best Companies to Work For® in the U.S., its ninth consecutive appearance and was recognized by American Banker as one of America’s Best Banks to Work For 12 years in a row and No. 1 among banks with more than $10 billion in assets in 2024.
