The National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) announced that its 2025 Fall Conference charity event raised a record-breaking $37,750 in support of the Chris Walker Education Fund (CWEF) and Can-Do Canines.
Hosted by the NEFA Foundation, the event combined service and networking to bring members together for a meaningful cause. Attendees spent the first hour packing supply kits for Can-Do Canines, followed by an evening of food, drinks, and connection, all in support of CWEF and Can-Do Canines.
“The NEFA Fall Charity event was one of our most successful events to date with record attendance and an all-time high in financial support. The Committee made it a goal to make this our best event ever, and we succeeded! Supporting Can-Do Canines not only brings our industry together for a great cause but also helps empower individuals with greater independence and confidence through the life-changing work these service dogs provide. It’s inspiring to see how our collective efforts can make such a lasting impact,” said Dave Gruber, Chair of the NEFA Foundation Committee and Vice President at Great
American Insurance Group.
This year’s charity event was made possible through the generous support of Channel, the event sponsor, along with the dedication and enthusiasm of NEFA members and attendees who continue to champion meaningful causes through NEFA Foundation’s initiatives.
