BankUnited Inc. announced that Giselle Williams has joined the bank as vice president, commercial banker for the Broward and Palm Beach regions of South Florida. In her new role, Williams will be a senior-level relationship manager responsible for cash management, treasury, credit & financing, and advisory solutions.

Prior to joining BankUnited, Williams was a senior relationship manager at Bank of America, serving middle market and commercial banking clients. Before that position, she served as a senior corporate relationship manager at HSBC Bank, N.A., handling a portfolio of international and multi-national corporate banking clients. Williams began her career in New York in similar roles with Banco Santander and JP Morgan Chase.

Williams, a West Palm Beach resident, holds a bachelor of arts from University of the West Indies. Her dedication to the communities she serves includes volunteering with several Central and South Florida nonprofit organizations focused on helping the homeless and elderly.
