Fleet Advantage announced its 2025 calendar year-end milestones for its Kids Around The Corner (KATC) Foundation, building upon its growing legacy of annual charitable giving and community engagement. Since its founding in 2014, KATC has supported nonprofit organizations benefiting children and families in the communities where Fleet Advantage’s employees and clients live and work. To date, the foundation has contributed over $1 million to children’s charities on behalf of its employees and customers.

Throughout 2025, KATC continued expanding its community presence, donating $307,280 to 45 nonprofit organizations, including 16 new partnerships. These contributions, many of which support smaller organizations with limited donor networks, reflect Fleet Advantage’s continued commitment to uplifting children, families, and underserved communities.

In addition to charitable giving, KATC significantly strengthened its hands-on community involvement with nine in-person volunteer events throughout the year. As part of its holiday initiatives, Fleet Advantage employees and their families volunteered on Thanksgiving Day at the Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers. KATC volunteers also supported two December community initiatives: The Friendship Circle of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s inclusive holiday celebration on December 7, and the 4KIDS of South Florida Gift Store community event on December 9, helping families shop for holiday gifts at no cost.

KATC also continued its annual “Giving Back on Good Friday” event with the Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers in April, where volunteers assembled and delivered essential care kits and distributed Easter baskets to children throughout South Florida. This marked the program’s largest distribution since inception.

KATC made a notable impact on Giving Tuesday (December 2), donating to 4KIDS of South Florida. All donations made that day were matched 100% by a partner organization, effectively doubling KATC’s contributions and expanding its impact on vulnerable youth.

Beyond its local initiatives, KATC extended support to internal disaster relief. In response to Hurricane Melissa that struck Jamaica and other areas in late October, the foundation donated to the Global Empowerment Mission, covering one container of aid and assistance with operational support. Each container included 20 pallets of essential supplies, such as food, water, hygiene products, detergent and other necessities, providing critical assistance to families affected by the storm.

One of last year’s standout achievements was the foundation’s largest-ever back-to-school backpack drive, in which Fleet Advantage provided 1,000 backpacks across three Broward County schools, in partnership with the Broward Education Foundation, ensuring students began the school year with the supplies they need for academic success.

The foundation also continued its support of programs promoting youth empowerment and financial education. For the third consecutive year, KATC partnered with Junior Achievement of South Florida (JASF) to expand financial literacy programming into South Palm Beach County -an area that previously lacked access to this important curriculum.

KATC’s dedication to youth outreach was further demonstrated through two Foot Forward Foundation “Kicks for Kids” sneaker distribution events, where Fleet Advantage volunteers provided brand-new shoes to children at Royal Palm Elementary School and the SEED School of Miami. These events received enthusiastic engagement from Fleet Advantage employees and strong support throughout the community.

KATC’s growing impact also led to notable regional and national recognition. Fleet Advantage was ranked #24 on the South Florida Business Journal’s 2025 Corporate Philanthropy List, highlighting its leadership in giving and community engagement. Additionally, Fleet Advantage was honored by the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) with the 2025 Humanitarian Logistics Award in the Employee Engagement category, and it was recognized by the Monitor 2025 Best Companies Awards in the Community Impact category.

“On behalf of the entire Fleet Advantage team and the KATC Committee, we are extremely proud of our accomplishments last year,” said Elizabeth Gomez, Director of Marketing and Community Outreach for Fleet Advantage. “Our commitment to serving the communities where we live and work remains at the core of our company culture. From providing essential school supplies to empowering young learners and supporting families in need, our employees continue to demonstrate the compassion and dedication that drive our mission forward.”
