Alfa has been named Tech Business of the Year at February’s plc awards for 2025.
The award recognises publicly listed technology companies that drive economic growth and deliver commercial success through the development and application of innovative technology. It also assesses long-term growth potential, strategy execution, market recognition and adherence to ESG best practice.
Alfa was recognised for its continued innovation in enterprise software for the global asset finance industry, enabling providers to transform and scale their operations through its modern, extensible, cloud-first technology platform - Alfa Systems - along with its sustained, robust ESG credentials.
Andrew Denton, Alfa CEO, collected the award, saying: “I was very proud to accept this award on behalf of the entire Alfa team this evening.”
Andrew Flegg, Chief Technology Officer, added: “I’m so proud of what everyone at Alfa does to make us the company we are. Having great technology needs to effect change, and this is another validation that shows we're doing the right things.”
The Tech Business of the Year category was introduced to highlight technology companies reshaping industries and enabling new ways of working, communicating and conducting business. Winners demonstrate strong financial and commercial performance, robust governance and sustainable long-term growth potential.
The judges also consider ESG alignment, evaluating how environmental, social and governance principles are embedded into company strategy and decision-making.
Alfa’s recognition reflects its continued focus on building high-performance, resilient SaaS for finance providers worldwide, helping organisations to modernise their tech stack, improve operational efficiency and support evolving financing models.
